Terms of Service for CustomSong

These terms govern your use of CustomSong at customsong.app and our AI song generator products.

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Your Account

You must provide accurate registration info and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

2. Your Content & Generated Songs

  • Your inputs: lyrics, prompts, audio, titles, and uploads remain yours. You grant CustomSong a non-exclusive license to process, host, and display them as needed to provide the service.
  • Outputs: subject to model/provider rules, you own the songs generated for you. For commercial use, review our licence page or contact support.
  • Visibility: you control whether songs are private, unlisted, or public. Public songs may be shown in libraries, showcases, or marketing unless you later change visibility (already-shared links may persist).

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload or request content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or violates others' rights
  • Upload third-party material without permission
  • Circumvent security, rate limits, or payment requirements
  • Misrepresent AI-generated works as human-performed where disclosure is required by law
  • Use the service for spam, malware, or deceptive activity

We may suspend or remove content or accounts that break these rules.

4. Payments & Credits

Paid plans, credits, and gift add-ons are billed by our payment providers. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated in the product terms.

5. Service Changes

We may modify or discontinue features, plans, or pricing. Material changes will be communicated in-product or via email when appropriate.

6. Intellectual Property

CustomSong and its licensors own all platform code, design, trademarks, and models. These terms do not grant you rights to our branding or code. You receive a limited, revocable license to access the service as described here.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free outputs. Music generated by AI may contain inaccuracies; review before using commercially or publicly.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CustomSong will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the service.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify CustomSong against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for legal/safety reasons.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be handled in the courts designated by CustomSong, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
